Yorkshire Stone Self Faced Paving Flags.
Hand Made by our time served stone dressers from local quarries.
Please enter M² required into the quantity box
This paving is extracted from local sedimentary stone quarries, which are situated in the quarrying belt of the Pennines of West Yorkshire. The thickness of the material when split from the block is generally 15 – 30mm. The paving slabs are then produced from these scants in both Random sizes and 600mm widths and random lengths. (other set sizes available on request). Predominantly Grey with naturally occurring buff veining the stone exhibits a mica fleck on the stone surface. It is ideally suited to connect both internal and external areas. Thinner graded slabs are better suited for internal use and outdoor patio and pathway applications. (please note – we would advocate the thicker grade for driveways or vehicle over-run areas). Generally, our self-faced flags are made in the traditional way but finished with sawn edges and are supplied with a self-faced smooth finish.
